Pokémon's start.

I was 11 years old when I got a random VHS tape in the mail with little monsters all over it. It said 'A sneak peek at Pokémon' and claimed to be a preview for a new gameboy game and a cartoon show. I put the tape in to watch it, and when it was done I had obtained an obsession that I still have to this day. Gotta catch 'em all. Here's that tape, kids.

The number of monsters, the mystery of knowing them all... the idea of a competitive RPG game... I remember how I got hooked. I wanted to beat the living shit out of this game.
